Buku terbaru ini diberi judul “Oyster Perpetual Datejust – A Watch that Made History”.

“Oyster Perpetual Submariner – The Watch that Unlock The Deep” Buku Pertama Rolex & Wallpaper*
Sama seperti edisi Submariner, buku tentang sejarah Rolex Datejust ini juga ditulis oleh sejarawan sekaligus watch expert ternama, Nicholas Foulkes. Ia menyoroti signifikansi Datejust sebagai chronometer wristwatch pertama dari Rolex yang waterproof, self-winding, dan dilengkapi date window – sebuah pencapaian yang saat peluncurannya tahun 1945, bahkan oleh pendiri Rolex Hans Wilsdorf disebut sebagai rangkuman dari “every discovery made to date”.
Lewat kombinasi fotografi baru dan arsip sejarah Rolex, monograf ini membahas detail penting mulai dari peluncuran Datejust 80 tahun lalu, penambahan lensa Cyclops pada tahun 1953, hingga kisah-kisah testimoni yang menyoroti kolaborasi Rolex dengan para atlet dan figur dari dunia seni. Dengan akses eksklusif ke arsip Rolex, Foulkes menyebut kehormatan bisa menulis sejarah resmi jam yang ia anggap sebagai the most representative timepiece dari Rolex.
